Welcome to our very first blog post - How to apply vinyl to a solid object
#1 Clean the area that you want to add your vinyl to (we use alcohol swabs for this). People often skip this step but we have found it absolutely essential to avoid bubbles in your vinyl and it also makes it much easier to stick
#2 Weed the pieces of vinyl that you dont need so that you are left with just the image/text that you want to place on your item. Cut a piece of transfer tape to size and peel the backing off, then press the sticky side of your transfer tape over your vinyl. Firmly rub the transfer tape with a scraper tool or brayer to ensure there are no air bubbles remaining
#3 Peel the transfer tape from the vinyl backing and make sure that as you peel it off the vinyl is fully attached to the transfer tape and peels away from the backing along with the transfer tape. If any of your vinyl does not peel off then place the transfer paper back down and repeat step 2
#4 Carefully place your vinyl on your blank item and then rub it with a scraper tool to ensure it sticks to your item
# 5 Start to peel the transfer tape away from your item slowly at an angle, if any of the vinyl peels away with the tape then carefully place the tape back down and repeat step 4
